South African police announced that they have arrested four men who were en route to Russia on suspicion of intending to join the fighting in the ranks of the army there. The arrest was made as part of the fight against mercenarism and involving citizens in armed conflicts abroad. According to law enforcement representatives, the men were detained at the airport before their departure. They are currently in custody, and an investigation is underway.
