The International Court of Justice (ICJ) announced on Tuesday that Belgium has joined the case brought by South Africa against Israel. Belgium is the second country, after Ireland, to join the lawsuit. South Africa filed the case in December, alleging that Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip violate the Genocide Convention. Israel has rejected these accusations. The ICJ has not yet issued a final ruling in the case.
