Elected as the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), South African Patrice Motsepe.
Patrice Motsepe expressed gratitude to the members of the confederation for the trust and support he received. According to him, he is eagerly waiting to start work in the new position and contribute to the development of football on the continent.
Motsepe is the chairperson of the board of directors of African Rainbow Minerals and is the first leader from South Africa to head CAF in the last 24 years.
