Earlier this Sunday, former U.S. President Donald Trump accused South Africa of "confiscating" land and "horrific discrimination against certain groups of people," stating the need to investigate this situation further.
According to Trump, he made this decision after seeing a report on the government's hardline policy towards landowners on the part of the South African government. The U.S. President stated the necessity to conduct an investigation into this situation.
It should be noted that currently South Africa is facing the problem of redistribution of land in favor of the black population as part of the transformation aimed at correcting the inherited inequality post-apartheid.
"It’s the same as if you were to suggest that one day in the 21st century you learn that your country intends to harm the white population in order to correct distortions caused by past racial harms," noted Donald Trump.
