The authorities of South Africa are considering the possibility of turning to Russia or Iran for the expansion of their nuclear program. This was stated by the minister of mineral resources and energy of the country.
According to him, South Africa is exploring options for cooperation with countries that have advanced technologies in the field of nuclear energy. The decision on selecting a partner in this sphere will be made with the participation of other departments.
"We must be practical and explore all possibilities. We will certainly collaborate with other ministries and establish a proper approach to this issue," he emphasized.
