A young man from South Africa has been brought back to life after spending 48 hours inside a mortuary refrigerator. This happened after doctors officially declared him dead following a car accident. This case once again sheds light on rare instances of people being revived before burial or transfer to a morgue. Sipho William Madlathi woke up inside one of the metal drawers at a mortuary in the town of Sebokeng. Staff heard cries for help coming from the refrigerated storage. It turned out that the man, who had been declared dead two days prior, was still breathing. Medical reports described this as a miracle, considering the extreme cold and lack of oxygen.
